Improving the V1 computer vision prototype to achieve earlier rumble-strip detection and more reliable driver warnings using an expanded dataset, hard-negative mining, temporal detection, and improved evaluation across diverse highway conditions.
Current Progress: Dataset Expansion & Hard-Negative Mining
Building a computer vision system to detect potentially hazardous objects such as gas cylinders and shock absorbers in scrap yards and waste-management environments. The goal is to identify hazardous objects before they are exposed to burners, furnaces, or high-temperature processing, helping reduce the risk of serious industrial incidents.
